After having c-section, the tissue surrounding the scar can feel tight, or even painful. Sometimes people develop "protective posture" after having a c-section as a way to create more laxity around their scar which can worsen symptoms. Whether you're experiencing pain or discomfort around your scar or not, these stretches are a great way to increase mobility, lengthen tight muscles, and help alleviate pain. This should not be attempted until your incision site is fully healed and you have been cleared by your healthcare provider.
