I’m a few days into the post partum core restore and living all the wonderful information, explanations and exercises on your website and on the app. I found myself looking for a place on the app to mark off what I’ve done on a daily basis and perhaps some encouragement and accountability. Also, since At this point I’m only interested in the post partum content, it feels a bit overwhelming to have to navigate past all the prenatal content. Perhaps if I could choose within in the app to only view the post partum content, or if by some divine intervention I would get pregnant again I could switch to prenatal content, it would seem a bit less overwhelming I think. Perhaps I’m still getting used to the app though. I was really happy with your explanation and visualization of breathing the correct way and engaging and relaxing the pelvic floor and core muscles. It seems like I’ve been doing it wrong for as long as I can remember and I’m starting to feel more relaxed and I can definitely tell there is less pressure inside my abdomen. Thank you so much for making all this available. I’m looking forward to regaining a strong, functional and healthy body.
A little feedback
Hi Deborah,
Thank you so much for the feedback! Unfortunately there is no way for us to set it up within our platform for you to be able to choose to only seep postpartum content (our platform doesn’t have that technical capability) so we have done our best to organize and separate the content and make it as easy to navigate as possible. For the core restore series - everyone will move through this at a different pace (some may stay on week one for two or three weeks before they are ready to move on while others may be ready sooner) which is why it doesn’t automatically mark off what you’ve done. Again it comes down to what our platform is technically capable of as well :) As for accountability and encouragement, that is largely why we created the forums section so that mamas can meet one another and encourage one another! We are always here to support you as well. You can always feel free to email us too (we can reply faster that way) [email protected] 💓
I really love the app and understand there are technical limitations. Those are just the only things I could think of when asked for feedback that maybe could be improved upon. I know there are other ways to keep track of how many times I’ve done a certain video, but it would be convenient to be able to mark or write it somewhere inside the app, like an exercise journal of sorts. I have to agree that the content is very organized. As for encouragement, that’s something I value when I start a new program. Like a message or email saying something like “good job sticking with it, make sure you pay attention to this and that and keep up the good work.” Just some positive feedback if you know what I mean.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We really do appreciate it and want to make the user experience as seamless and pleasant as possible for everyone. There are a lot of things we wish we could do! We do love your suggestion about finding a way to only see the content that is relevant to you, so we are going to look into this and see if there may be a way for that to be added down the road. As for an exercise journal, that is something we can definitely look into adding as a pdf or something along those lines, and the emails are coming! We are still ironing out details and getting all of that stuff set up but it will all be coming soon. :) All great feedback and wonderful ideas! Thank you again! So thrilled to hear that you are loving the app and the content - that makes us so happy!
Thank you Sarah! I’m sure the app will become even more amazing. I’ll definitely be telling all my pregnant and new mom friends about it. All this content would have been so valuable and helpful with my pregnancies and navigating the 4th trimester, but there is still a lot of relevant information and I look forward to trying the postnatal workouts after having 6 babies, Diastasis Recti and an umbilical hernia. Just learning how to breathe the correct way is already making a difference and my core strength is improving with the core restore program.
